From shimmies to layers to pops, locks, and juicy hip movements, come learn the art of bellydance in a supportive, comfortable environment. This class fuses several dance genres with bellydance to develop technique, musicality, muscular strength, flexibility and confidence. Short combos will be taught and class always begins with a warm up and conditioning, and ends with a brief yoga-inspired stretch and relaxation sequence.
This is a 4 week series that meets every Wednesday in January. Drop-ins are welcome at $18.
