FULL: SomaYoga Therapy to Nourish & Cleanse (In-Studio & Virtual)

6 week class series on Tuesdays, 4/12 - 5/24 (no class April 26), 7:00-8:30 pm CT

Living in harmony with the rhythms of nature can help us move toward balance. We already have a natural affinity to cleansing and letting go in Springtime. As nature cleans with Spring rains, we are also naturally inclined to “Spring Clean” by deep cleaning and decluttering our space from what is built up over winter. In this six-week series, we will use SomaYoga Therapy, including Ayurveda, to support the natural cleansing systems of the body and mind practices to calm, clear, and to begin taking an inventory of what is no longer needed. This series is organized around the Ayurveda Six Pillars of Yogic Lifestyle. We will explore the “just right” 1) movement, 2) cleansing system support, 3) breath practices/transforming stress, 4) mindfulness & meditation 5) food, and 6) strategies for restful sleep & relaxation. In Ayurveda, we learn that with each season, our individual needs may change to be in harmony with nature and our individual constitution. Each week we will learn and experience new practices in class so you can learn how to integrate them into your life. This series will be held online via Zoom. You will receive written practices, audios, videos and Ann will provide individual recommendations for each person. No experience is necessary.

 Ann Blackburn and her husband, Dan Blackburn own Tula Yoga & Wellness and are Certified SomaYoga Therapists. They teach group classes, workshops, and private sessions.
