Summer Qigong Workshop: August with Sandy Mighell

“Qi” means energy or life force, “Gong” means cultivation. Deeply restorative, this 5,000 year old practice utilizes mindfulness, breath and very gentle movement to restore balance and flow to your body’s 5-Element organ systems. Practitioners often receive many benefits, including of improved sleep, relaxed nervous system and elevated sense of wellbeing. In addition to the ongoing 5-Element Organ Cleansing/Replenishing practice, extra time will be devoted to learning a "Heart Centered Meditation" practice for self healing, which practitioners can take home and practice to promote systemic healing in body, emotions, mind and spirit. Studies suggest that the Heart's Qi Field has been measured up to 50 feet away; accordingly, healing in one's own heart has a profound influence on the world around us! Practitioners will learn a directed Heart Qi balancing practice to take home and and practice for internal and external Heart Qi healing.
