At 19, I found yoga as a way to access my inner strength and voice while going through some difficult times. My practice has continued to support me over the last 35 years. My husband Dan and I have co-owned Tula Yoga & Wellness since March 2012. Our mission is to make yoga & wellness within everyone’s reach and to create a space where people reconnect with and be themselves. I am a life-long student, have been teaching for over 14 years, and completed my Yoga Therapy certification (C-IAYT) through Yoga North’s International SomaYoga Institute in 2017. I weave SomaYoga (Somatics & Yoga) practices, Ayurveda, iRest Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and energy work through group classes, private sessions, and workshops. I am faculty for Yoga North’s yoga teacher training and immersion programs. As a teacher/yoga therapist, my purpose is to empower my students/clients to grow their awareness of the body’s wisdom, the power of the mind, and find their inner strengths. We are so powerful when given the awareness and tools. I am blessed to share this work with my family and community.
