Welcome to the Lost and Found book launch homepage. I’m glad you’re here.
Writing this book has been a real journey. It started simply. While talking to a friend in late January of 2022 the subject of writing a book came up and I joined a writers group. Up to that moment, writing a book was a dream. Quite literally, I got to give myself permission to overcome feelings of unworthiness and put the story down. Then came an amazing amount of fear. What if someone actually reads the book?
I’ve learned a lot along the way. I never knew how many different editors there are. Lost and Found has been edited over 4 times and I’m happy it has been. Publishing is complicated! Writers can self-publish, have a publisher represent their needs, or choose a hybrid version. Each one of these options comes with costs and benefits. I’m lucky. My publisher, Riverpress Publishing, is local and has been a real pleasure to work with. Publishing a book isn’t cheap.
So, here we are. The book has been written and edited. It’s currently at the publishers being laid out and I’ve chosen the cover art. There’s still work to be done, but we’re getting close.
Your support means a lot to me. Choosing to buy a book in its presale phase is frankly more expensive than waiting for the book to land on the bookshelves. Your support funds more than the book itself. It helps pay for the time it takes to write, the editors, artwork, publishers, and print the first batch of books. Without your support, Lost and Found might never make it to the bookstore.
The below listings are meant to give you a choice on the level of support you’re comfortable with. Some options include services that I offer in my business as a certified Yoga Therapist, Certified Coach, facilitator, and speaker.
