Join Beth Giles for this 8-week class series as we explore the movement forms and principles of the Nia Technique. Our goal is to choose joy--life force energy and move with pleasure. We dance in bare feet (shoes are optional) to soulful music using the 52 moves of Nia that engage the whole body and the mind, emotions and spirit too. We dance Nia to build body awareness, strengthen and condition, express ourselves and have fun. No prior experience is necessary. For all levels of fitness.

Nia is a movement and lifestyle practice that heals, strengthens and empowers all of our realms: physical, mental, emotional and spirit. A combination of nine movement forms with the energies of martial arts, dance arts and healing practices, Nia provides a unique body/mind/spirit fitness experience.
