SomaYoga Therapy to Enliven Your Core & Pelvic Floor! Series 6-class series Wed. $120 for 6-weeks Tuesdays, January 7 - February 11, 7:00-8:30 PM Hybrid

What is SomaYoga Therapy? SomaYoga is a unique blend of Somatics (neuromuscular re-education), ancient yoga practices, and functional movement. This approach creates mobility, strength, and stability while nourishing the body and mind. Somatic movements release tension patterns and retrain muscle imbalances. This blend can lead to greater freedom and strength in our daily activities, help prevent injuries, and help regulate the nervous system. This is an excellent method for recovery and injury prevention!

SomaYoga is also an effective approach to enlivening your core and pelvic floor. Did you know they are all part of the same system of support and mobility? Our pelvic floor greatly affects our health and well-being, but there aren’t many opportunities to learn how to improve your pelvic floor health. There is a belief in our culture that we need to put up with staying disconnected from our pelvic floor and misunderstanding our core. So, many of us suffer and just settle with this as part of the “aging/birthing process.”

If you have experienced:

• Pelvic instability and pain

• Lower back pain and SI (Sacroiliac Pain)

• Pelvic floor dysfunctions

• Stress incontinence

• Sexual discomfort

• Organ prolapse

• Pregnancy...

or you just want to learn more!

Join us for this 6-week series where we will learn about the relationship between the core and pelvic floor, how we breathe affects our core and pelvic floor, how to reverse the stress response in the body, learn how all of the muscles of the trunk/torso affect your core and pelvic floor, learn SomaYoga movements to release, stabilize, and then strengthen this vital center. We can improve the functioning of the pelvic floor as we age and age gracefully! Join us for one of the simplest and most effective insurance policies for your health.

You will receive videos and audios to practice between classes for maximum benefit.
