LEADING COURAGEOUSLY: Addressing Structural and Systemic Racism

AN INVITATION TO LEARN, EXPLORE, AND PRACTICE

The Art of Hosting & Harvesting Conversations that Matter

April 8-10, 2024 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
At Tula Yoga & Wellness in St. Paul, MN

Today our world is filled with the need to recognize the humanity of all people. Since 2020 we have witnessed the impact of Covid, the death of George Floyd, and numerous other events that appear to be steeped in racism. Each response is a call to action to address structural and systemic racism. However, many have struggled in knowing what to do, how to respond, and what seems to be appropriate. The need to build individual and organizational capacity to navigate the complexity of our world with authenticity is even more critical. This three-day training is designed for learning simple yet powerful practices that enable courageous engagement that builds community, activates shared intelligence, and motivates leadership for change as we address the systems that perpetuate racism.

The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations That Matter (also known as the Art of Participatory Leadership) offers simple and powerful participatory practices, patterns, and processes to host generative conversations that can lead to coordinated action and positive change.  An Art of Hosting training is experiential, and many people find it is unlike any other training they’ve attended.

Is this for you? Are you ready to have deep conversations, develop skills, and have the resources available to engage in seeking ways to address systemic racism? Whether you come from the public or nonprofit sector, a foundation, are self-employed, or are coming simply as an individual who cares about this work, this training is for you. We invite diverse perspectives to create a vibrant learning space, which we can build on in our work. Attend as a team to make the application of what you’ll learn even easier to integrate!

Join us and you will leave feeling empowered and ready to...
