The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to wheel or disk. Chakras are energy centers that govern various aspects of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head.
Our Root Chakra (Mūlādhāra in sanskrit) , located at the base of the spine is the center of stability and security. The Root Chakra is comprised of whatever grounds you to stability in your life. This includes your basic needs such as food, water, shelter, safety, as well as your emotional needs of interconnection, and being fearless. When these needs are met, you feel grounded and safe.
It is more important than ever to feel stable, strong and grounded. In this workshop, you will learn about the Root Chakra and be guided through a practice that nourishes and balances it. You’ll experience how sacred tools (including mantra, mudra, yoga, and visualization) can keep you grounded and well during these uncertain times.
No experience necessary- all are welcome!
